When he approached civic authorities with the concept of his glass-blowing studio, nobody knew what to make of it or even how much to charge him for a business license.

I understand that a museum is a business and money has to come from somewhere, but it would be nice to be reassured that this grand scheme for solvency didn’t come at the price of kids right there in Tacoma whose entire outlook on life could and has been be greatly improved by one simple, relatively inexpensive gesture.
